Overview

Extract web tables to Google Sheets, CSV, Excel, TSV, Markdown, or JSON. Preview and clean everything locally in your browser.

TableScoop is a local-first web table extractor for turning tables on webpages into clean, reusable data. Capture a standard HTML table, an accessible ARIA grid, or a repeated div-based layout. Preview the result in a compact drawer, refine the selected region when needed, then copy or download it in the format that fits your workflow. EXPORT A CLEAN RESULT • Paste a capture into Google Sheets from the primary action • Download it as a CSV or type-aware XLSX workbook • Copy it as a spreadsheet-ready table, Markdown table, or JSON records CLEAN BEFORE YOU EXPORT • Preview detected rows and columns • Normalize merged cells and repeated headers • Filter, sort, rename, edit, find and replace, and undo • Remove empty rows and hidden elements • Preserve Unicode and empty values • Neutralize formula-like values before spreadsheet export for safety CAPTURE REPEATEDLY • Search up to 10 recent local captures • Save capture recipes for tables you revisit • Append rows across multiple pages • Find and choose among multiple tables on one page PRIVATE BY DESIGN TableScoop has no accounts, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or remote services. A lightweight local listener on ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages remembers only the last right-clicked element so Capture this table can target it exactly. The full capture code reads table content only after you invoke a toolbar, keyboard, saved-recipe, or context-menu action. Capture payloads and the recent-capture index stay in the browser's IndexedDB database; recipes and settings stay in Chrome local storage. Nothing is transmitted by the extension. LIMITATIONS TableScoop works with accessible tables and grid-like DOM structures on normal HTTP and HTTPS webpages. Chrome pages, extension pages, PDFs, local files, canvas-only tables, protected content, and inaccessible cross-origin frames are unsupported. Some virtualized grids expose only visible rows.
