TableGrab — Instant Table Scraper & Data Export
Overview
Extract tables, lists and catalog data to CSV or Google Sheets in one click. Auto-pagination, column picker, no uploads.
TableGrab turns the table you are looking at into a file you can use — without writing a script, and without sending your data anywhere. Most web tables are easy to see and annoying to get out. Copy-paste mangles the columns. Print-to-PDF loses the structure. TableGrab reads the page directly and rebuilds the grid properly, including merged cells, link columns and image addresses. WHAT IT GRABS • Native tables — every <table> on the page, with headers detected from <thead>, header cells or bold first rows • Card grids — product listings, search results, directories and job boards that were never a table at all • Shadow DOM — tables rendered inside web components • Links and images — a column of links gains its own URL column; image columns resolve lazy-loaded sources EXPORT • CSV — RFC 4180, with a UTF-8 byte-order mark so Excel opens Cyrillic, Japanese, Arabic and accented text correctly • Copy — tab-separated, ready to paste straight into Google Sheets or Excel • Column picker — reorder and hide fields before the file is written, so it matches the sheet you already have MULTI-PAGE CAPTURE Listings that spread across pages are the tedious part. TableGrab finds the Next control — by rel attribute, accessible label, pagination classes, button text in 14 languages, or page-number arithmetic — walks the listing to the end, and merges every page into one table. Duplicate rows are dropped as it goes. Infinite-scroll pages are handled the same way, by scrolling and waiting for new items. You can stop at any point and keep what has been gathered so far. PRIVACY TableGrab has no server. Page content is read inside your tab, the file is written on your machine, and nothing is uploaded. There is no analytics, no advertising, no account and no tracking of any kind. PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY • Read the current tab — only after you click the icon • Downloads — to save the file you asked for • Clipboard — only when you press Copy • Site access — asked once per site, only when you start a multi-page capture, because turning pages reloads the tab WHO IT IS FOR Marketers pulling competitor price lists, analysts who need a government table in a spreadsheet, recruiters building a candidate list, researchers collecting figures that only exist as a web table, and anyone who has ever selected a table by hand and regretted it. HOW TO USE 1. Open a page with a table or a listing 2. Click the TableGrab icon — detected datasets appear with a live preview 3. Download CSV, or Copy and paste into Sheets Pin it from the extensions menu, or press Alt+Shift+T.
