Table to Shopify CSV fixes the part that actually breaks: turning a dirty table into a file Shopify will accept. WHAT IT DOES • Merged cells, expanded. A table with rowspan and colspan becomes complete rows — every row has every column, no shifted values, no empty gaps. • Two-row headers, joined. "Specs" spanning "Color" and "Size" becomes Specs_Color and Specs_Size. One header per column, exactly what a CSV needs. • Leading zeros, preserved. SKU 00127 stays 00127. In CSV it is written quoted; in XLSX those columns are locked to text format so Excel cannot silently turn them into numbers. • Real CSV and XLSX. CSV comes with a UTF-8 BOM (so Excel shows Chinese correctly) and RFC 4180 quoting. XLSX keeps SKU, barcode and handle columns as text cells. • Column mapping, remembered. Pick which source column becomes Title, Variant SKU, Variant Price, Image Src and so on. The mapping is saved per header layout, so the next table with the same headers is mapped automatically. • Works on div "tables" too. Many admin panels build tables out of divs. Those are detected as well, not just real table elements. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not connect to your Shopify store, and does not upload anything on your behalf. You still upload the file yourself — that is one click, and it keeps this extension free of OAuth, API keys and account access. • It does not fetch images, resize them, or rewrite URLs. • It does not parse PDFs directly (export the PDF page to HTML first). PRIVACY, VERIFIABLY • Runs entirely in your browser. No server, no analytics, no network requests at all. • Requests only activeTab, scripting, storage and downloads. No host permissions, so it cannot read sites you have not clicked on. • Your table data never leaves the tab. The only things stored locally are your column mappings and your license state.
