Extracts selected rows/columns from Varbank 2.0 tables as JSON and optionally chats about them with AI.

Table Extractor works on Varbank 2.0 (varbank.ccg.uni-koeln.de) and turns its data tables into clean JSON. • Lists the tables on the page and highlights the one on screen • Extract rows selected on the site, all visible rows, or rows you pick in the panel • Choose any columns, optionally including cell links • Download as JSON or copy to the clipboard • Chat about the data with a Groq AI model in the side panel (bring your own API key) Privacy first: the extension only runs on Varbank 2.0. Table data is never sent anywhere unless you attach it to a chat message and confirm a dialog that shows exactly what will be sent. Potentially identifying columns are excluded by default. No analytics, no tracking, no remote code. Not affiliated with the Cologne Center for Genomics.
