What Tabko does - Save your current tabs as a session - Restore entire sessions in a new window, or open individual tabs from a session - Keep pinned tabs and window structure - Preserve tab-group metadata where Chrome exposes it (best effort) - Search sessions by name, tag, tab title, or URL - Compare two sessions side by side - Merge multiple sessions into one - Export sessions as JSON or HTML - Copy all URLs from a session Auto-save and recovery - Optional save when the last Chrome window closes - Optional interval saves: 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes - Optional startup recovery save after unexpected closes (enable in settings) - Configure ignored domains and cleanup behavior in settings Free tier - Up to 500 local sessions - Manual save and one-click restore - Search, tags, and sorting - Session comparison and merge - Duplicate warnings on save - JSON and HTML export - Theme options (light, dark, auto) - Local-first storage with no account required Premium tier (pay what you want yearly: $14.99–$49.99) - Up to 100,000 sessions - Optional cloud backup synced over HTTPS (enable in settings) - Link-code activation for additional installs - Version history for session rollback - Smart scheduling - Auto-remove duplicates on save - Remove duplicate tabs when merging sessions - Advanced export: formatted HTML and printable PDF view Privacy and security - Local-first by default: session data stays in your browser unless you enable cloud backup - Tabko uses tab URLs and titles for save/restore features; it does not read page contents - No remote code execution; extension logic is packaged locally - Premium billing is handled by Polar; payment card details are not stored by Tabko - Incognito tabs are excluded from save and cloud sync Who Tabko is for - Developers switching between repos, docs, and test environments - Researchers and students organizing topic-based browsing - Professionals managing client/project workspaces - Anyone who wants fast session restore without a cluttered UI How it works 1) Install Tabko and open the toolbar popup. 2) Click Save Session (or use Ctrl+Shift+S / Cmd+Shift+S). 3) Restore anytime from the popup, with per-tab or full-session control. 4) Configure auto-save and Premium options from the settings page.
