TabIt — Smart Tab Manager for Chrome Tired of drowning in tabs? TabIt automatically organizes your open tabs into meaningful groups so you can focus on what matters. How It Works TabIt analyzes your tab titles and URLs to find related tabs and groups them together. It uses TF-IDF (term frequency–inverse document frequency) to measure similarity between tabs, then applies Leiden community detection to discover natural clusters. The result: your tabs are organized into named groups that actually make sense. Everything runs locally in your browser. No data is sent to any external server, ever. Features Smart Regroup Click "Smart Regroup" to instantly organize all your open tabs. TabIt creates Chrome tab groups with auto-generated names based on the content of your tabs. Existing groups are preserved — only ungrouped tabs are affected. Auto Grouping Turn on Auto Grouping and TabIt works in the background as you browse. New tabs are automatically placed into existing groups or new ones. If a tab navigates to a completely different site, TabIt detects the domain change and re-evaluates its placement to keep groups coherent. Customizable Grouping Fine-tune how TabIt organizes your tabs: - Tab Range: Set the minimum and maximum number of tabs per group (1–20). Groups smaller than the minimum are left ungrouped. - Granularity: Choose between "Few Groups" (fewer, larger groups), "Moderate" (balanced), or "Many Groups" (more, smaller groups).
