Overview
Intelligently hibernates inactive tabs to save memory while preserving their state
Tired of your browser slowing down from too many open tabs? TabHibernate is here to help! This extension intelligently monitors your browser tabs and automatically puts the ones you haven't used in a while into a sleep state (hibernates them). This frees up your computer's memory, making your browser run faster and smoother. How it works: - Saves Memory: Puts inactive tabs to sleep to reduce RAM usage. - Keeps Your Place: Remembers where you scrolled to on a page, so when you click back on a sleeping tab, it reloads right where you left off. - Smart Hibernation (Optional): Learns which websites you use most often and tries not to put those tabs to sleep too quickly (Adaptive Mode). - Customizable: You can set how long a tab should be inactive before it sleeps, prevent pinned tabs from sleeping, and create a list of websites that should never sleep, all through the Options page. - Simple Interface: Easily see settings and manually hibernate tabs through the toolbar popup. - Install TabHibernate and enjoy a faster browsing experience without losing your tabs!
