Overview
Keyboard-first developer cockpit: your bookmarks as a board on every new tab.
TabHelm replaces your new-tab page with a board of your bookmarks — cards you arrange yourself, instead of a folder tree you forget the shape of. Save the tab you're on with one keystroke. Import the bookmarks you already have. Drag things into cards, or let the inbox suggest where a new save belongs. When you want something back, hit ⌘K to jump straight to it, or press / to search the board in place — including by time, like "last week" or "June". What it does: • Save the current tab from the toolbar or a keyboard shortcut • Import your existing bookmarks (browser export or from other bookmark managers) • Organize into cards and lanes by dragging — no folder digging • Keyboard-first triage for unfiled saves (j/k to move, f to file) • A review queue that surfaces links you saved and never opened, so the board doesn't rot • Live tiles next to your bookmarks — like the GitHub pull requests waiting on you • Optional sync across your devices when you sign in • An optional one-line "why you saved this" note, written by Chrome's built-in on-device AI — it runs on your machine and sends nothing out Your bookmarks live on your device first. TabHelm works fully offline, and the content of what you save — the URLs, titles, and notes — is never sent to us for analytics. Sync is opt-in and stays off until you turn it on; when it's on, your board is stored on our server so it can follow you between devices.
