TabFeed — AI Tab Manager & Bundles Do you ever look at dozens of open tabs and shiver? You kept them for a reason, now TabFeed helps you remember why. TabFeed is an AI‑powered tab manager that turns browsing chaos into clarity with summaries, smart groupings, and quick actions that save time and memory. - AI summaries for every tab: See what each page is about at a glance (no clicks). - Smart bundles (tab groups): TabFeed detects common topics across tabs and suggests bundles automatically. - Save & Close Tabs: Snapshot your research (links, summaries, notes) and safely close the originals in one click. - Clean, actionable dashboard: Each tab appears as a rich card with title, image, summary, entities, and categories. - Quick actions: Open, pin, close, or run a related Google search directly from the card. - Privacy & safety cues: Highlights trackers, third‑party requests, mixed content, and mic/cam permission states. - Tab age & stats: See tabs older than 7/14/30 days, unique domains, and a lightweight memory estimate. - On‑device by default: Uses Chrome’s built‑in AI (when available). No account required. How it works - TabFeed organises your open tabs into a personal “tab feed.” - It uses on‑device AI to summarise content and spot themes (tab organise / tab groups). - Create a bundle to keep research together, ask questions about it, follow “next step” tips, and save & close when done. - Your saved bundle keeps links, summaries, and context so you can return anytime. Who it’s for - Researchers, students, developers, writers, shoppers—anyone who keeps lots of tabs open. - Great for project sessions, travel planning, tutorials, docs, news research, and product comparisons. Privacy - TabFeed stores data locally. - AI features run on your device using Chrome’s built‑in AI when available; network isn’t required for summaries. - Optional site access improves automatic summaries; features still work per‑tab via activeTab if you prefer. Permissions (why we ask) - activeTab: one‑time actions on the current tab (when you click). - history: show accurate “Opened … ago” times and age buckets. - scripting/host access (optional): extract page text for on‑page summaries and organizing. - storage: keep bundles, summaries, and settings on your device. - tabs: list and manage your open tabs. - contentSettings: read mic/cam allow state for safety cues. - webRequest: count third‑party/known tracker requests to surface privacy signals. Why TabFeed - Faster decisions: summaries + bundles reduce context switching. - Lighter browser: save & close when you’re done—without losing your work. - Focused research: ask questions in a bundle and follow actionable tips (Google, - - News, Wikipedia, Reddit, YouTube, TripAdvisor). Install TabFeed to turn your tabs into a clear, searchable feed—organize, save, and close with confidence. Please not due to the use of Chrome's inbuilt AI the current version does not work on all devices due to GPU constraints.
