Overview

A reliable session manager — save, close, and restore your tabs without ever losing data.

TabDiary saves a messy window of tabs as one named session — so you can close it, walk away, and get every tab back exactly as you left it. Every tab manager can organize tabs. TabDiary is built around a different problem: not losing them. ★ NEVER LOSE A SESSION • 30-day trash — deleted a session, or a whole folder, by mistake? Restore it with one click any time in the next 30 days. • Version history — renaming a session or removing a tab snapshots the previous state first. Roll back a bad edit days later. • Import and export — your whole library in one JSON file you control, and you can load it straight back in. A backup you can actually restore. ★ ORGANIZE LIKE ONETAB, WITHOUT THE RISK • Save, close, and restore a full window of tabs in one click. • Only need a few of your 40 open tabs? Tick the ones that matter and save just those. • Chrome tab groups become one session each, named after the group — not one flat pile. • Nested folders, pinning, and search across every session name, tab title, and URL. • Restore into a new window so 30 tabs don't land in the middle of what you're doing. • Keyboard shortcuts and a right-click menu, so saving never needs the popup. ★ SWITCHING FROM ONETAB OR SESSION BUDDY? Import their export files directly. Years of saved tabs come with you — you don't start from an empty list. ★ MAKE IT FEEL LIKE YOURS • Open it as a side panel that stays put while you work, or as the usual toolbar popup. • A 5-level brightness slider — not just light/dark, the exact brightness that suits your eyes. • Four optional interactive background styles, off by default. • Full interface in English and Vietnamese, switchable instantly. ★ WHAT COSTS MONEY, AND WHAT DOESN'T Everything above is free, with no limits and no trial — save as many sessions as you like, they live on your own disk. The single paid feature is automatic cross-device sync: $14.49 once, not per year. Competing tab managers charge $19 to $72 every year for the same thing. You do not need it to move sessions between machines. Export gives you one JSON file, import reads it back on the other machine, and the website walks you through it step by step. That route is free and always will be. Sync is for not having to think about it. ★ YOUR DATA Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to sign in for sync. No analytics, no trackers, no third-party scripts. Your data is never sold. See the Privacy Policy for the detail. Built for researchers, engineers, and anyone who regularly has thirty tabs open across six different threads of work. Made by thanhtrung.ep.
