Consolidate, dedupe, and sort your open tabs, then close them fast from a keyboard-driven review list.

Tabby turns a sprawl of open tabs into a short list you can clear with the keyboard. One shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+K, or Cmd+Shift+K on a Mac) runs the whole cleanup: it gathers every tab open across your normal windows into the focused one, collapses duplicate pages, and sorts what is left by address so related pages sit next to each other. Then it drops you into a review list. REVIEW WITH THE KEYBOARD Move with j and k, mark a row for closing with x, mark a whole run with V then x, and commit with Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter. Shift+S parks the marked rows in a stash instead of just closing them. Press ? for the full cheatsheet. OR WITH THE MOUSE Click a row to mark it, drag a selection box down the list to mark a run, drag rows onto a group to file them there, and right-click for a menu that closes, stashes, marks, or jumps — acting on your whole selection. SIDE PANEL The same review surface can mount in Chrome's side panel, so you can prune without leaving the page you are reading. Optional: Tabby asks for the sidePanel permission only if you choose it. TREE OUTLINER A standing window-to-group-to-tab outline across every window, with per-window flagged counts. Reparent an entry by dragging it, or with m to pick it up and p to drop it into the row under the cursor. x closes a whole subtree, c closes just its flagged entries. STASH AND BULK-PARK Park background reading in one move. Tabby folds duplicate and low-value tabs into a collapsed "noise" section so a stash is worth reopening later. The Stashes page lets you browse what you parked, restore it, export it to a "Tabby Stash" bookmark folder, or delete it. SWEEP AND UNGROUP One button closes every advisory-flagged tab across all windows, honoring the categories you opted out of in Options. Another dissolves just the groups this cleanup run created, leaving everything open. UNDO THAT MEANS IT u restores the tabs you just closed, instantly, with its back-forward history where Chrome still has the session for it. Beyond Chrome's recently-closed window it is best effort and restores the address. LOCAL RECORDS, NO TELEMETRY Tabby keeps a local log of what it recommended and what you closed, with an opt-in Navigation Trace for auditing how redundant tabs get created. The Options page shows how many entries the log holds and clears it on one click. Nothing is transmitted anywhere — Tabby has no server, no analytics, and no host permissions. CONFIGURABLE Query-parameter normalization, an editable tracking-parameter blocklist (utm_*, gclid, and friends), duplicate keep policy (most recently active, oldest, or leftmost), grouping by site rather than exact address, which advisory categories the sweep may close, and which surface the review opens in.
