Keep tabs on your tabs. New tab page that groups your open tabs by domain and lets you close them with style.

Tabby replaces your new tab page with a compact dashboard for finding open tabs, saving links, and returning to saved sessions. Find the tab you need • Group open tabs by website and search titles and URLs. • Filter by browser window, with coloured dots and website summaries. • See duplicate copies together and close eligible extras while protecting pinned tabs and tabs playing audio. • Select tabs to save links, create or add to a session, or close them with recovery. Keep useful links and return to your work • Save links with the bookmark toggle without closing their tabs. • Switch to an existing matching tab instead of opening another copy when using individual saved links. • Keep named sessions and open them in the current window, a new window, or as a tab group. Opening a session does not consume it. • Add, rename, select and remove links directly on session cards. • Choose Grid or Compact list and remember your preferred layout for each view. Recover and back up • Undo tabs closed through Tabby, restoring original windows, positions and groups where possible. • Find links closed through Tabby in Recently closed, kept for up to seven days with storage limits. • Restore deleted saved links and sessions from Trash for up to 30 days. • Export a JSON backup and preview a validated import before merging it. Background images are optional in backups. Make it comfortable Choose light, dark or system appearance, custom colours, and an optional local background image. Keep the interface compact while preserving your own look. Local by design Tabby processes tab URLs, page titles, window/group details, saved work and preferences locally in your browser profile. It has no account, cloud sync, advertising or analytics service, and does not send this browsing data to the developer. Website icons use Chrome’s favicon service. Opening a link makes a normal browser request to that website. Please note Tabby changes your new tab page. Saved links are not full page snapshots: unsaved forms, scroll state and page contents are not backed up. Recently closed covers tabs closed through Tabby, not your full Chrome history. Recovery is best effort if windows or groups have changed. Local history and Trash do not replace an external backup. Exported backups are unencrypted files; keep them somewhere you trust. Permissions Tabs: show, search, switch, save and manage tab URLs and titles. Storage: keep your saved links, sessions, preferences and recovery information locally. Favicon: show website icons through Chrome. Tab groups: show and restore group names, colours and membership where possible.
