Tabby — Tab-Manager & Speicher-Sparer

Doppelte Tabs schließen, über alle Fenster hinweg suchen und inaktive Tabs automatisch pausieren, um Arbeitsspeicher zu sparen.…

Tabby is a fast, private tab manager and memory saver — built to replace the heavy, over-permissioned suspenders of the past. Too many tabs slowing your browser to a crawl? Tabby frees memory using Chrome's built-in tab-discard engine, so inactive tabs stop hogging RAM but stay right where you left them. Click one and it reloads instantly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT TABBY DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🧹 Close duplicate tabs Spot and close duplicates in one click — or let Tabby close them automatically as they open. 🔍 Search every tab, every window Find any open tab by title or URL and jump straight to it. 💤 Auto-suspend idle tabs Tabs you haven't touched in a while are suspended to reclaim memory. Set your own idle threshold (default 30 minutes). 🛡️ Smart exceptions Never suspends the tab you're using, pinned tabs, tabs playing audio, or any site on your personal allowlist. 🔢 Tab-count badge See how many tabs are open at a glance (optional). ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVATE BY DESIGN ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • No account, no backend, no ads, no tracking. • No content scripts and no access to page content or your browsing data. • Just three permissions: tabs, storage, and alarms. • Your settings sync across your own Chrome profiles and never leave your browser. Tabby uses Chrome's native tab-discard API instead of injecting replacement pages — that's why it stays lightweight, safe, and out of your way. Lighter tabs. Less memory. Zero clutter.
