Tabbrella – never lose your tabs

Automatically saves your open tabs and windows so you can restore them after a crash or restart. Local only.

Tabbrella keeps your tabs safe, quietly and automatically. Every change to your windows, tabs and tab groups is saved within seconds, on your own computer. If Chrome crashes, a window closes by accident, or an update wipes your session, you can go back to how things were five minutes ago, yesterday or last week, and restore it exactly: tab groups with their names and colors, pinned tabs, the order of your tabs, and your window names. WHAT YOU GET • Automatic snapshots: no button to press. You can always see when it last saved. • Recently closed windows: reopen a closed window, or a whole browsing session, with one click (kept for 30 days). • Saved sessions: save a window, a tab group or all windows under a name. Saving again updates it, without creating duplicates, and every earlier version is kept. • Exact restore: groups, colors, pins and order come back as they were. Big sessions open "asleep", so Chrome doesn't freeze while loading 200 tabs. • Search everything: press Ctrl+Shift+K (Cmd+Shift+K on Mac) to find any tab, whether it's open, in a saved session or in an old snapshot. • Your own backups: export everything to a file at any time, or turn on a daily backup file in your Downloads folder. Tabbrella makes no network requests at all: no analytics, no tracking, no ads. • Chrome shows "Read your browsing history" at install, because Tabbrella has to see your tabs' addresses to save them.
