Overview

Finally close all your open tabs. Tab closer & tab manager with hotkeys, bulk close, AI grouping, auto-close, and tab sorting.

Finally close all your open tabs. Tab closer & tab manager with hotkeys, bulk close, AI grouping, auto-close, and tab sorting. We all have too many tabs open. Tabbit helps you finally close them. Tabbit is a tab closer and tab manager that helps you zoom out and quickly decide what you want to do with your old tabs. You can keep, close, bookmark, or group tabs using the build-in preview window and helpful hotkeys. When the queue hits zero, you're done! More importantly, everything is private, offline, and secure. Everything runs locally in your browser, including the optional, opt-in on-device AI model powered by Chrome/Gemini that can be used to create context-aware tab groups. There is no analytics or monitoring, not even the Google Analytics given to extension app developers. No external remote code. No accounts, no cloud, no nonsense. We never see your tabs. šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ° šŸ°šŸ„• Features šŸ°šŸ„• šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ°šŸ„•šŸ° āŒØļø Close tabs with hotkeys Every action (keep, close, bookmark, group, undo) has a keyboard shortcut, and they're all remappable. 🦾 Tab Grouper / AI Tab Grouper (Opt-in, Optional, On-Device, Free) : Cluster your open tabs by domain or brand name. You can also group by context, connecting themes across different domains using AI - Chrome has a free, built-in, private, 100% on-device Gemini Nano model available. For example, it can separate gift shopping and job hunting based on the tab titles. You can then review, drag tabs between groups, rename, and deselect tabs before confirming. 🧲 Automatic Tab Grouper Automatically move new (and existing, if you'd like) tabs into a premade group as soon as they open. Match flexibly on URL patterns, regex patterns, rough match, simple domains, or full regex. Supports Strict Mode (removes tabs that drift out of their rule's domain) and Merge Mode (keeps a single named group across multiple browser windows). Comes with a built-in template library covering 20+ categories with localized regional variants, so you can get started without typing a single pattern. šŸ’£ Bulk-close old tabs in one shot Set a time threshold for tabs you haven't used recently. See live previews, uncheck anything you want to keep, and close the rest. ⚔ Auto close tabs in the background, automatically Set a rule once: auto close any tab that hasn't been visited in X days. Anything it closes goes into a Graveyard panel so you can restore whatever you didn't mean to lose. šŸ”¤ Sort all tabs alphabetically in one click Right click feature. Sort every open tab by URL or title, with an option to sort pinned tabs too. Works correctly with tab suspender extensions like Tiny Suspender. ā†©ļø Undo anything and everything Every action is fully undoable. Closing, bookmarking, moving to a group, batch deleting are all reversible. 🌊 Fluid bookmark and tab group flows without leaving your keyboard It's seamless to navigate, search, and create new bookmarks and tab groups all from your keyboard. šŸ“‹ Batch triage with the List View Switch to the Tab List View for a bird's-eye overview of every open tab at once. Filter by domain or Chrome tab group, sort by title, URL, or recency, toggle between a compact grid and a slim list layout, and select tabs with click, Shift+click ranges, or rubber-band drag. Bulk-keep, bulk-close, bulk-bookmark, or bulk-group your selection in one shot. Also undo-able. šŸ”Ø Smush duplicates in one click Right click feature. Finds every URL you have open more than once and closes the extras (pinned tabs are always kept). 🚌 Merge tabs into one window in one click Right click feature. Consolidates every browser window into one instantly. šŸ“ŗ YouTube Watch Later batch automation Navigates to each selected YouTube tab, and runs a click-script that moves the video to the YouTube "Watch Later" playlist, then closes the tab and moves on. šŸ“Š See what you actually accomplished The completion screen shows how many tabs you closed, bookmarked, etc. Confetti included! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Install Tabbit and see what a clean browser feels like more often.
