Taban - Quick Tab Switcher

Middle-click anywhere or press Ctrl+Space to open a tab switcher near your cursor. Links still open in a new tab as usual.

Taban lets you instantly switch between open tabs without reaching for the tab bar. How it works: • Middle-click anywhere on a page to open a tab switcher popup right at your cursor • Or press Ctrl+Space to open it centered on screen • Type to search/filter tabs by title or URL • Use arrow keys + Enter to navigate, or just click • Close tabs directly from the list with the ✕ button • Press Escape or click outside to dismiss Middle-click on links still works normally - clicking a link with the middle button opens it in a new tab as expected. Taban only activates when you middle-click on empty space. Minimal & fast - no background activity, no data collection, no analytics. Taban only runs when you trigger it. Permissions explained: • tabs - to list and switch between your open tabs • favicon - to show tab icons in the switcher • Host permissions - the content script needs to run on all pages to detect your middle-click
