TabAlign - Tab Grouping
Overview
Automatically groups active browser tabs by domain with a unified 'Misc' fallback group and persistent visual themes.
NOTE: TabAlign is open source, privacy-first, and fully local. It takes **0 cookies**, sends **0 tracking data**, and does not rely on any external server. Everything happens inside your browser. The codebase is available on GitHub: https://github.com/abdullah-suhayl/groupTabs TabAlign: Because having 87 open tabs from the same domain is not good. If your tab bar looks like a digital landfill, TabAlign automatically sorts, groups, and collapses your tabs by domain. Lonely single-tab domains get swept into a unified “Misc” bin so they do not clutter the view. Features • Domain Grouping: Sorts your messy tabs by domain. • The “Misc” Bin: Packs orphan tabs together so they do not clutter the view. • A/B Themes: Swaps between four minimalist themes, including a dark mode for tired eyes. • 100% Local: No cookies, no tracking, no external data collection. • Open Source: Public codebase available on GitHub. What’s new in 1.0.1: * Reduced background work during automatic tab grouping. * Improved popup dashboard refresh performance. * Avoided redundant tab grouping and collapsed-group updates. * Added packaging updates for Chrome Web Store submission.
