Tab Workspaces

Named sets of tabs, each in its own window, with a vertical tab list. Syncs between your computers, end-to-end encrypted.

Keep each project's tabs in its own window, and have them waiting for you next time. Tab Workspaces gives you named sets of tabs ("Work", "Trip to Lisbon", "Recipes"), each in its own window. Everything you do in a workspace window saves itself as you go: opening, closing, moving, pinning and grouping tabs. Close a workspace and its tabs wait for you; open it and they are back, tab groups and pinned tabs included. WORKSPACES • Switch from the toolbar button (Alt+W) or the tab list; type to find one in a long list • Put workspaces in groups, give them colours, rename them • Move or copy a tab, or a whole tab group, to another workspace • Workspaces open with only the front tab loaded; the rest load when you click them A VERTICAL TAB LIST • Beside your browser window, or in its sidebar (Alt+T) • Coloured tab groups, pinned tabs in their own column, search, drag and drop • Select several tabs with Ctrl or Shift and act on them all at once • Sort, close duplicates, recently closed tabs, and a compact mode • Sleeping tabs are marked; pinned tabs you haven't used for an hour go back to sleep SESSIONS AND SAFETY NETS • Save every open window as a session, by hand or every hour, and restore it later • Earlier versions of each workspace are kept for 30 days; bring one back in two clicks • Deleted workspaces can be restored for 60 days • Download a backup file of all your workspaces OPTIONAL SYNC, END-TO-END ENCRYPTED • Keep your workspaces in step between your computers, usually within a second • Everything is encrypted on your computer (AES-256-GCM) with a secret key that never leaves it; the sync server cannot read your tabs, their addresses or your workspace names • Use the shared server, or run your own on a free Cloudflare account Works in Chrome, Brave and Edge.
