Tab Volume

Volume controls for tabs playing audio. Adjust each tab from 0% to 200%.

Control the volume of each audio tab independently. Tab Volume gives each audio tab a slider from 0% to 200%. Lower a loud meeting, boost a quiet video, or balance two audio tabs without changing your system volume. Muted tabs and tabs with adjusted volume stay visible even when they are silent. Features: • Independent volume per tab, including multiple tabs from the same website. • Adjust volume from 0% to 200%, mute a tab, or reset to 100%. • Click the 100% mark below the slider to restore the original volume. • Click a tab title to switch to it. • Light and dark themes with a saved preference. • A Settings tab with an optional Remember volume switch. Remember volume is off by default. When enabled, volume preferences are saved locally using the tab title and site address, without the URL path, query, or fragment. After restarting the browser, open the extension on a matching tab to restore its saved volume. Disabling the option stops saving and restoring preferences but keeps previously saved data. Open the extension while the tab you want to control is active to authorize audio control. Audio is processed locally. It is not recorded, stored, or uploaded. Saved preferences are not synced or sent to a server. No ads or analytics.
