Tab Volume Booster
Overview
Make any tab louder (up to 6x) or quieter, keeping fullscreen when possible. Per-tab memory, built-in limiter, no data collected.
Tab Volume Booster lets you make any browser tab louder (up to 6x) or quieter, all the way down to silence, with one slider. • Boost quiet videos, calls, lectures, or streams above 100%. • Turn a backing track DOWN below your instrument: great for practising along, when you want the song quiet under your guitar. • Fullscreen-friendly: on YouTube and most sites it adjusts the page's own audio, so native fullscreen keeps working while boosted. • Per-tab: each tab remembers its own level; nothing is shared, and it's forgotten when you close the tab. • Survives page reloads and "next episode" transitions, follows the video even when the player is swapped out, and has a built-in limiter to tame distortion on hard boosts. • One-click reset back to normal. • Available in 14 languages. Translations are community contributions, see the GitHub repo to add yours. Privacy: runs entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, no analytics, no ads, no data collected. Open source (GPL-3.0): https://github.com/marcanxo/tab-volume-booster Note: DRM-protected sites (Netflix, Spotify, Disney+, etc.) can't be adjusted in-page, so they're boosted via capture mode instead; fullscreen is unavailable there while boosted.
