Tab Title Guard
Overview
Stops sites from changing the tab title ("Come back!") when you switch away.
Some sites change their tab title as soon as you switch away: "Come back!", "We miss you", blinking notification counts. When you have many tabs open, you can no longer find the one you were looking for. Tab Title Guard keeps tab titles readable. • Choose where it works: only on the sites you pick (default), or on every site except the ones you exclude. • Apply it to a single page or to a whole site, right from the toolbar button. It starts protecting the open tab immediately. • Choose how it works: – Freeze the title while the tab is in the background (recommended) – Make the page think it's always visible – Timeout: let the title change for a few seconds, then restore it The toolbar icon shows whether the current tab's title is protected: a solid blue tab with a closed lock when it is, a grey outline with an open lock when it isn't. Private by design: no tracking, no analytics, no network requests. Your settings stay on your device. Open source: https://github.com/theleoni/Tab-Title-Guard
