This update was shaped by suggestions from Tab Sorter users. • Sorting respects your Tab Groups — groups are never broken up. You choose how they're handled in Settings → Tab groups: – Keep as is: grouped tabs stay exactly as they are, only ungrouped tabs are sorted (default) – Sort inside: groups stay intact, but the tabs inside each group are sorted too • Name your sessions and see what's inside at a glance • Expand a session to browse its tabs and open just the one you need ────────────────────────────────────── WHAT IT DOES ────────────────────────────────────── Sort Tabs Now Instantly reorder tabs by domain — all your GitHub tabs together, all your Google Docs in one place, everything where you'd expect it. Your Tab Groups are never broken up: groups stay intact and are kept at the front, and the ungrouped tabs are sorted after them. Group by Domain Organise tabs into Chrome's native coloured Tab Groups. Each group is labelled by domain name, colour-coded automatically, and moved to the front of your tab bar so you can find it instantly. Subdomains are treated as one group — magazin.aktualne.cz, sport.aktualne.cz and nazory.aktualne.cz all belong to the same Aktualne group. Running it rebuilds all groups by domain, including ones you created manually. Split into Windows Move each domain group into its own dedicated window. A configurable threshold lets small groups stay in the current window. Close Duplicates Find and close all tabs that share the same URL in one click. The active tab is always kept; pinned tabs are never touched. Sessions Save the current window's tabs with a single click. Give the session a name right away, or just close the popup and it keeps the date and time. Each session shows how many tabs it holds and which sites they're from, so you always know what you saved. Click a session to see its tabs and open just the one you need, or restore the whole session in a new window.
