What Tab Scoot does - Set-aside (Zen) mode: Keep the tab you’re on and stash the rest of the window for later — great before calls or deep work. - Saved tab groups: Name a group, save it, reopen or remove it from the popup when you need it. - Recently closed: Pulls from Chrome’s own recently closed list so you can restore tabs or windows in one click. - Command palette: Fuzzy search across open tabs and saved groups; jump straight to what you need. Set shortcuts under chrome://extensions/shortcuts (Tab Scoot suggests Ctrl+Shift+K / Cmd+Shift+K for the palette and Ctrl+Shift+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z for set-aside if keys are free). - Optional memory saver: Periodically discards eligible background http/https tabs to reduce RAM. Discarded tabs stay in the tab bar; click to reload. Unsaved work on that page can be lost — same risk as closing a tab.
