Tab Rotator for Display Screens
Overview
Automatically rotates tabs or windows every N seconds in fullscreen, for dashboards and display screens.
The popup is pre-filled with the settings from the last time you clicked "Start". On first use it shows the defaults from extension/config.js. While rotating, open the popup, change the settings, and click "Apply" to apply them immediately. Multiple monitors: in tabs mode, rotation is bound to specific windows, not to focus. Put one Chrome window on each screen and start rotation in each one. Using the mouse or keyboard in other Chrome windows afterwards does not affect those windows, and focus is never stolen. Windows mode has to bring windows to the front, so it takes focus on every switch; use tabs mode for multi-monitor setups. For unattended display screens, check "Start rotating when the browser starts" so rotation begins as soon as the browser launches. Stopping: the toolbar is hidden in fullscreen, so the popup can't be opened. Press Alt+Shift+S in a rotating window to stop its rotation. The window leaves fullscreen after stopping, and you can then click the icon to stop or change settings in the popup. Alt+Shift+S can also start rotation directly with the saved settings. Note: pressing F11/Esc to leave fullscreen during rotation doesn't help, because the next switch makes the window fullscreen again. The shortcut can be changed at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
