Tab Rewind — Tab & Session Manager

A pay-once, local-first session manager with resilient instant search, tab group preservation, and crash recovery.

Never lose a tab again. Tab Rewind is a session manager for people with too many tabs. Save your tabs as named sessions, get automatic backups every 30 minutes, and find any tab instantly with search that actually works. WHY TAB REWIND • One-click save — save all windows, or just the current one, as a named session. • Time machine — automatic snapshots protect you from crashes and accidental closes. Watched 47 tabs vanish? Rewind. • Search that works — instant full-text search across every saved session and backup. By title or URL, typo-tolerant, with match highlighting. • Perfect tab groups — restoring a session brings back your tab groups exactly: names, colors, collapsed state, pinned tabs, tab order. • Duplicate finder — one click closes duplicate tabs. • Export — any session to JSON or Markdown. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Tab Rewind works 100% offline. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking. Your tabs never leave your machine — the extension makes zero network requests. FREE VS PRO Free forever: 3 saved sessions and 7 days of automatic backup history. Tab Rewind Pro (one-time payment, no subscription): unlimited sessions, unlimited history, advanced search filters, full export. Pay once, yours forever. Built by an indie developer. If Tab Rewind saves your tabs even once, it has paid for itself.
