Tab-Pilot replaces your new tab page with a powerful dashboard for organizing tabs into nested folders and workspaces. Stop losing important pages in a sea of open tabs. Workspaces Create separate workspaces for different contexts — Work, Research, Learning, Side Projects. Switch between them instantly from the dashboard header. Each workspace holds its own folder tree, so your work tabs never mix with personal ones. Nested Folders Organize tabs into folders, and folders inside folders — as deep as you need. Expand and collapse folder trees to focus on what matters. Pin important folders to the top of the dashboard for quick access. Drag & Drop Drag browser tabs from the sidebar directly into any folder card. Rearrange folders and tabs by dragging them to new positions. Folders auto-expand when you hover over them during a drag. Undo any move with a single click. Right-Click Save Right-click any page or link and save it to Tab-Pilot. The context menu shows your full workspace and folder hierarchy, so you can file a tab in the right place without opening the dashboard. Quick Save Popup (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) Press the keyboard shortcut to open a compact popup showing the current tab. Pick a destination folder with the keyboard, add optional notes, and save — all without leaving the page. Search Search across all saved tabs and folders in real time. Matching results are highlighted while non-matching items fade out, making it easy to find anything in a large collection. AI-Powered Organization (Optional) Chat with AI to get suggestions for organizing your tabs. Provide your own API key from OpenAI or Anthropic to enable AI features. The AI can suggest folder structures, help find duplicates, and provide organization recommendations based on your tab collection. Google Drive Sync Sign in with Google to sync your data across devices. Tab-Pilot uses Google Drive's private app storage — only Tab-Pilot can access your data. Sync runs automatically every 5 minutes, with smart conflict resolution that keeps the most recent changes from each device. Browser Tab Sidebar See all your open browser tabs in a sidebar panel. Hover any tab to see its URL and quick action buttons. Tabs already saved in your collection are marked so you know what's new. Select multiple tabs and save them in bulk. Import from a JSON backup to restore or merge data — duplicates are automatically detected and skipped. Privacy Tab-Pilot stores all data locally in your browser. Google Drive sync is optional and uses a private app folder that no other application can read. Optional AI features require your own API key and may send tab information to third-party AI services (Anthropic or OpenAI) when you choose to use them. No analytics, no tracking, no account required.
