Tab Overview
Overview
See every open tab as a grid of thumbnails, like Safari's Tab Overview.
Tab Overview turns your open tabs into a grid of thumbnails, so you can find the one you want by looking instead of squinting at 40 identical favicons. • Press ⌘⇧0 (Ctrl+Shift+L on Windows and Linux) to open the grid • Start typing to filter — the search box is already focused • Arrow keys to move, Return to switch, Esc to close • Close a tab with ✕, or ⌘⌫ • Tabs from every window, with the current window listed first Everything stays on your machine. No account, no sync, no analytics, no servers. Thumbnails are stored locally and deleted when the tab closes. A note on how thumbnails work: Chrome only lets an extension screenshot the tab that is currently visible. So Tab Overview photographs each tab as you visit it, and the grid fills in as you browse. Tabs you have not opened yet show the page's own preview image, or its favicon.
