See and edit your real Chrome tab groups — live. Rules, manual tab sleep. Local, no account. by taborganizer.app
🎯 Too many tabs? Tab Organizer shows your real Chrome tab groups — live — and lets you edit them, sleep tabs on your command, and save sessions. You start in Group Mirror Mode: the same groups as Chrome, one list across windows. Turn on Tab Groups Sync (Beta) only if you want automatic domain grouping. Mirror and Sync cannot run together. ✨ Key features ✅ Group Mirror Mode — see and edit Chrome's native tab groups live (create, rename, reorder, move tabs, collapse, dissolve). Same-named groups from every window read as one list. Removing a group only ungroups it; tabs stay open ✅ Manual Sleep and Wake — free memory on your command (one tab, a whole group, or everything with Zzz). No timers, no auto-suspend. The tab you are looking at stays awake ✅ Popup, Side Panel, or a dedicated window — same UI, your choice. First-run asks once; change it any time in Settings. The Side Panel stays open while you browse ✅ Rules and workspaces — domain, URL, and title rules, Context Profiles, editable group names, Giant-Group Splitter, and signed local community-pack import ✅ Tab Groups Sync (Beta) — optional automatic grouping into Chrome's real tab groups. Exclusive with Mirror. New installs start in Mirror ✅ Auto-Collapse — with Sync on, inactive groups collapse when you switch; only the active group stays open ✅ Sessions — save and restore multi-window layouts as .tabsession files, including native group names ✅ Backups, Undo, and migration — local JSON backups, recovery snapshots before close-all or dissolve, and on-device import from Session Buddy, OneTab, or Toby ✅ Duplicates — find duplicate tabs and jump to them ✅ Reaper — close every tab except the one you're on ✅ Search — filter tabs fast, then jump to the top result ✅ Regional domains — language packs know local sites (e.g. web.de, gmx) so grouping fits your region ⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts (Windows/Linux: Alt · Mac: Option) Open Tab Organizer: • Windows/Linux: Alt + O • Mac: Option + O Quick Close All Tabs (except active): • Windows/Linux: Alt + Shift + K • Mac: Option + Shift + K Collapse All Tab Groups (except active): • Windows/Linux: Alt + Shift + C • Mac: Option + Shift + C 👤 Ideal For: • Power users and developers managing multiple projects • Students and researchers organizing extensive sources • Anyone aiming to boost their productivity and workflow • Users craving a simplified, seamless browsing experience 🌍 Languages (19) Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese — with regional domain rules where they matter. 🔒 Privacy Runs locally in your browser.
