Overview

Attach personal notes to any browser tab, search and export them.

Tab Notes lets you add a personal note to any browser tab so you always remember why you opened it or what you were doing there. Features - Add a note to any tab in one click. - Notes are saved by URL and stay there across sessions. - Auto-captures the page title so you don't have to. - Search across all your notes by keyword. - Export and import notes as a JSON file for backup and restore. - Clean design that doesn't clutter your browser. How it works - Open any tab. - Click the Tab Notes icon in your toolbar. - Type your note and hit Save. That is it - your note is attached to that URL until you delete it. To search your notes Click "All Notes" in the popup to see everything you have saved. You can type anything in the search bar, it matches against your note text, page titles, and URLs. Privacy All notes are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
