Ever heard sound from somewhere in Chrome and had no idea which tab it was coming from? Tab Noise Tracker finds it for you, instantly. It lists every tab that is currently making sound, with its title and favicon, so you can see the source at a glance. From the list you can mute, jump to, or close any noisy tab with one click, and a badge on the toolbar shows how many tabs are making noise. Focus mode keeps one tab unmuted, the one you are actually listening to, and mutes everything else. Switch tabs or start sound somewhere new and the sound follows, so you never get surprised by background audio again. Turn Focus off and your previous mute settings come back. Visual alerts make the noisy tab impossible to miss. Choose an on-page flash, a marker in the tab title, or a flashing toolbar icon, and tune the brightness, colour, style (including colour-changing text), speed, and number of pulses. Built with accessibility in mind, including a reduced-motion option and safe default flash rates. Everything runs locally. The extension makes no network requests, records no audio, and sends nothing anywhere. It only reads tab metadata (title and whether a tab is making sound) to do its job.
