Monitor and control the number of tabs per window with automatic closing and real-time statistics

Tab Monitor enforces configurable limits on the number of open tabs per window and the total number of browser windows. When a limit is exceeded, the extension acts automatically: excess tabs are closed (pinned tabs are always protected), and excess windows receive a visible countdown page before being removed. The extension is designed for corporate and managed environments and works on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Administrators can lock settings via Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Windows managed storage, preventing end users from overriding configured limits. The extension makes no external network requests and collects no telemetry, analytics, or personal data. No account is required.
