Record any browser tab to MP4 or MP3, and save the videos and streams you find on web pages, all on your own computer. RECORD ANY TAB • Video + audio as MP4 (H.264 + AAC), or audio only as MP3 (128–320 kbps). • No time limit. Media is written to disk every second or two, so memory stays flat even for hours-long recordings. • Keeps recording while you switch tabs, close the popup or minimize Chrome. Pause and resume any time. • Pick any open tab from any window. If the recorded tab is closed, the recording is saved at once and you are told where. • Choose the resolution (720p to 4K), frame rate (24–60 fps) and quality. SAVE VIDEOS FROM WEB PAGES • A Download button appears when you hover over a video. Pick the quality and save as MP4, M4A or MP3. • HLS streams (.m3u8) download over parallel connections, including AES-128 encrypted streams. • Videos played through a page's own streaming player are saved from the segments the player loads, then merged into one normal MP4. • Plain media files are listed with their size for one-click download. • A downloads page shows progress and speed, with "Show in folder". YOUR FILES, YOUR FOLDER • Save into a folder inside Downloads, or into any folder on your PC. • Files are never overwritten. • Unfinished recordings are kept and can be saved after a crash. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything happens on your computer. No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. • The extension contacts a website only to download media you asked for, from the site that hosts it. GOOD TO KNOW • DRM-protected services cannot be downloaded by any tool. Use Record instead (protected video may record as a black picture). • Some sites do not allow downloading. On those, the Download button is not offered. • Please download only content you have the right to keep.
