Overview

Smart tab manager with dashboard, OneTab-style lists, workspaces, sessions, and automation.

Tab Master Pro is a smart tab manager that keeps your browser clean and focused for you — not by giving you more buttons to click, but by quietly automating the boring cleanup. It combines a OneTab-style “save all tabs” flow with a modern dashboard, domain-based grouping, and a set of local-only automations that prevent tab overload before it happens. 🧠 What Tab Master Pro does Gives you a clean overview of your current window, grouped by domain. Lets you send all tabs to a list in one click (OneTab-style). Saves workspaces so you can reopen sets of tabs anytime. Automatically archives and parks tabs/windows so you don’t lose work. Keeps your key apps pinned and your tab count under control. Runs everything 100% locally – no accounts, no servers, no data uploads. ⚡ Core features Modern overview dashboard See all tabs in the current window, grouped by domain (e.g. github.com, notion.so, gmail.com). Quick actions per domain: Close, Move to new window, Mute/unmute, Pin all. Sort tabs by title, URL, or recent activity. OneTab-style saved lists (but better) Send all tabs in a window into a saved list to declutter fast. Lists store title, URL, and favicon for each tab. Search across lists and tabs. Rename lists, add notes, and color-code them. Click any entry to reopen that tab instantly. Workspaces Save the current window as a named workspace. Reopen a workspace in a single click. Choose a default workspace to restore automatically on browser startup. 🤖 Free automations (all local, no server) These are the real value of Tab Master Pro — they run in the background and do the cleanup for you: ✅ Auto-archive closed windows → lists When you close a window, its tabs are automatically stored as an [auto] Closed window list, so you can bring it back later if you change your mind. ✅ Auto-park inactive windows If a window hasn’t been focused for X minutes (e.g. 30 or 60), Tab Master Pro “parks” it by saving its tabs into a list and clearing the window. Great for handling forgotten windows. ✅ Auto-pin favorite apps Define domains like gmail.com, slack.com, notion.so, etc. Whenever you open them, Tab Master Pro automatically pins those tabs so your core tools stay anchored. ✅ Auto-restore default workspace on startup Pick a workspace as your “home base”. When the browser starts, Tab Master Pro can automatically reopen that workspace so you always start in the right context. ✅ Auto-close or auto-list idle tabs Tabs that haven’t been used for a while (e.g. 30/60/120 minutes) can be cleaned up automatically: Either sent to a list like [auto] Idle tabs, or Closed directly, depending on your preference. ✅ Keep at most X tabs per window Set a maximum, like 15 or 25 tabs per window. If you exceed it, Tab Master Pro trims the oldest, least recently used tabs (excluding pinned and active tabs), and either: Moves them into a saved list, or Closes them, if you choose the aggressive option. ✅ Auto-tag lists by topic When a list is created, Tab Master Pro looks at the domains inside and tags it with a topic like Development, Docs, Social, or Video. This makes it much easier to scan your saved lists and see what they’re about. 🧩 Power tools built in Merge all windows into one (great when you’ve spawned a bunch of random windows). Close duplicate tabs automatically. Close tabs idle > 60 minutes with one click (manual shortcut in addition to automation). Domain quick actions: close/move/mute/pin everything from a site. Tab preview on hover: see a text snippet from the page to identify tabs faster. Dead-tab detection: flags tabs that likely 404/fail to load with a subtle warning. 🔒 Privacy & data Runs entirely as a Chrome extension using Manifest V3. Uses chrome.storage.local for settings, lists, and workspaces. No data is sent to any server – your tab URLs and titles stay on your machine. No account required. 🚀 Pro roadmap (coming soon) The free version already does a lot. A future Pro tier focuses on smarter, more customizable automation, including: Smart workstreams that group tabs by context and let you “focus” per project. Quiet hours that automatically park or hide distraction tabs (social, shopping, etc.). Per-domain rules (e.g. never auto-close GitHub, always auto-list Reddit after 20m). Session history timeline, analytics, and weekly cleanup reports. Tab Master Pro is for people who live in their browser all day and are tired of managing tabs manually. Install it once, set your rules, and let it quietly keep your browser sane.
