Coming from TreeStyleTab on Firefox, your extensions appears to be very nice. Is it possible to move the tree to the left of the screen? Update: I found one can do this by changing the Chrome Side Panel setting.

Hallelujah -- a nice, simple, vertical tab manager in a side panel. Doesn't try to be a Swiss Army Knife. OK to add features, but please take care not to mess up the beautiful simplicity. I've been waiting for this for years -- what I need to finally leave Firefox (RIP!),

Not working Arc Browser
This is because Arc dont allow the side panel API. and Arc has its native support for such function, maybe you don't need this extension if you use Arc

This is my favorite of all the chrome "tabs in the side panel" extensions. Especially when I learned that one can go into "manage extensions" and assign a keyboard shortcut to open/close this side extension. One opportunity for improvement, I think, would be to do more for hierarchical organization. For example, having an expand/collapse button next to parent tabs that show/hide their children. Also, supporting more than 1 level of hierarchy. Firefox's "Tree Style Tab" would be the gold ... Show more

This is fantastic! The one thing I really miss from my previous tab manager is the ability to set a keyboard shortcut to go to the extension with the search box selected. That way you can hit the hotkey and just start typing the name of the tab you want. Thanks!
for now, the built-in side panel doesn't provide an API to implement this function, which I also personally wanted.

It has potential. It beautifully displays all tabs within each window in side bar. The search function works great! However, here are my issues: (1) there are no instructions. One has to guess what odd looking icons mean. Press a diagonal down arrow and all my tabs collapse in that one window under one of the tabs... odd. I do it again to another window and it simply moves to the bottom of the list and all tabs remain intact. Can't figure it out. (2) There does not appear to be any way to na... Show more
Thanks for your feedback, I will consider these problems into the following versions and the latest version has already supported drag and drop.

This sidebar tab manager is great! I love that it nests tabs under others and the ease with which grouped tabs can be arranged and viewed at a glance. I would like to see the ability to have it on the left side, but I am not complaining. This is awesome!
Thanks! As for the left side, chrome itself already supports this ability. the docs said: if you'd rather it open on the left side of your screen than the right, click the three-dot icon on the top right of your display, select Settings > Appearance, and look for the Side Panel subhead. Select Show on right or Show on left.

As mentioned before, thisisi by far the best sidebar tab manager I've tried. Any change of open sourcing it so we can all help out? I'd imagine most people that want side bar tabs are developers anyways and I'm sure we'd be able to help out. Taking firefox as an example, TST and sideberry and both open source and I know it can be a daunting thing but it also looks great on a resume. I'd be willing to help at least, I'm sure many other will too. Feel free to get in touch if so, I'd be happy t... Show more
The source code is now stored in GitHub as private repo, I did not think about open sourcing cause I am not familiar with open sourcing and also thought an extension like such a tab manager is not very valuable. Now given your inspiring review, I will rethink about it and learn more about open sourcing.

I love it! It is currently the best side panel tab for Chrome! I would just wish for a drag-and-drop tab nesting if possible, as the other reviewer (Zhou Dong) mentioned.
Thanks and I am indeed trying to implement this function. I hope everything goes well. My goal is to make it compatible with the drag-and-drop function of the browser and make it more convenient, such as being able to drag and drop the whole tab group.
