I've been around the block with every tab manager and every chromium browser and now I'm back to Workona - it's approachable, useable yet powerful. Toby started charging too much. Wavebox is a bit unwieldy and hard to understand. Sidekick would thrash about and never load my sessions. Tabs Outliner would leave me with a million tabs strewn all over the place and I would have to clean them up again and again. Ghost Browser is too expensive - very similar functionality. Octab was nice but a bit... Show more

I have using it for around a year now. It has saved me tons of time. I used to group tabs with Google, but I kept losing them. I use it mainly for the different areas of my work.

destroyed all 200 of my tabs. no refunds, no backups, it CONTINUES attempting to take over MY ENTIRE BROWSER. do NOT attempt to use this before watching a 30-minute tutorial. i've lost hours of work, probably some tabs i left hidden days ago for later use, now they're ALL GONE. because this extension basically nuked my entire workspace. how can an extension take over someone's entire browser like that without clear warnings!?? i thought this was gonna help me transfer some tabs from another... 5 stars for a simple reason: I have never lost any tabs ever since I use Workona. If it's perfect - it isn't, but it is evolving and feedback is very welcomed by developer. I find it an honest tool, that is free - we may not forget this. I love the fact that, when there's tabs that weren't saved, it keeps them there, so you wont loose anything. Thank you, Workona :-)

This extension is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. What a COMPLETE WASTE of time and energy! I’m BEYOND PISSED OFF! I only tried this because Gettoby.com started charging, but this GARBAGE doesn’t even come close, this is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and ALMOST UNUSABLE! The experience is a TOTAL DISASTER. I tried to create a new space to save some unsaved tabs. After creating it, it suddenly opened a window called “HIDDEN TABS”, and threw all my tabs in there. The WORST PART? YOU CAN’T EVEN CLICK OR VIEW THE... Show more
Workona spaces work quite differently than Toby's simple collections, and they admittedly have a bit of an initial learning curve. To be fair, our signup flow even has a dedicated step with the title "This tab manager is different, but better" that clearly explains how everything works. We also have in-app tips that also explain how our spaces feature works. Perhaps you skipped through all that? We get it. We're users too. What you needed to know: When you click on a space in Workona, your tabs in your current window are swapped out, but your other tabs are safe and sound. You simply need to click in the sidebar of Workona to switch back to the previous set of tabs again. The hidden window very clearly states that you should not attempt to interact with it directly. The hidden window simply serves as a container to hold your inactive tabs in memory (rather than closing your tabs when you switch spaces, which could potentially lose unsubmitted forms, etc). The only way that tabs are put in the hidden window is if you switch spaces from within Workona's interface, and that's also the interface you should use to switch back. Finally, you should be able to restore your tabs. Even if you've removed the extension and logged out — or even removed the tabs from the hidden window or closed it — the original set of tabs should still be restorable thanks to the way we've built Workona. Just log back into workona.com and click on the spaces you see in the sidebar, and you should be able to find your tabs just as you left them (that's kind of the point of Workona!). There's certainly no need to manually restore anything one by one! We've been at this for eight years now, so we've built some pretty robust backup/restore systems. Especially since, you know... users like us mostly skip onboarding tips. ;)

Workana is a basic requirement in my life now. Much like water and food.
