Overview

Organize tabs into collections, copy bookmarks both ways, back up locally, and sync optionally. Saved tabs stay open.

Tab Grove is a lightweight Chrome tab and collection manager. Organize useful pages into clear directories and collections for work, study or everyday browsing. Save a page and keep browsing Drag a page from the open-tabs panel into a collection and choose where to place it. Saving does not automatically close the original tab. Your saved links and the pages running in Chrome are managed separately. Closing a tab is a separate, explicit action. Arrange your workspace Create directories and collections, rename a collection directly, reorder pages or move them between collections. Switch between grid and list views, collapse the side panels and search your saved pages. Batch organization, undo and limited local recovery records help with everyday changes. Copy to and from Chrome bookmarks Grant bookmark access when you need it in Settings. Select bookmark folders or workspace collections, review the preview, then confirm the copy. Import folders into your workspace or copy collections to the bookmark bar without automatically moving or deleting the original bookmarks. Free local features; optional sign-in Collection management, dragging, search, bookmark transfer and JSON backups work without an account. Backup import is validated and previewed before merging. The interface supports Simplified Chinese and English, with three simple color themes. Optional account and cloud sync Continue with Google, review the collection merge, then decide whether to copy local collections into your account. Cloud writes and cloud-history restoration require active Pro access or an explicitly started, one-time 14-day trial. No card is required for the trial. Free or expired accounts can still use local features, read existing cloud collections and preview cloud history. Payments are not enabled in this version. Future checkout will support Alipay only. Cloud sync includes saved directories, collections, page URLs, titles and their order. It does not upload the live open-tabs list or running page state. Cloud history is limited to 10 versions, 30 days and 32 MiB in total; older versions may be removed earlier when a limit is reached. Data and permissions Tab URLs and titles are used to display, save and locate pages. Tab Grove does not read Chrome's past browsing history, page body content, cookies or browser passwords. Website icons come from Chrome's cache. Bookmark permission is requested only when you choose to use bookmark transfer. There are no advertising or behavioral analytics services. This release is a private test. Google sign-in is available to approved test accounts only. Collections save links, not page body content, form entries or running-page snapshots. Only regular, non-incognito HTTP/HTTPS pages can be saved; Chrome internal pages, extension pages and local files are excluded.
