Tab Group Nuker

Deletes every open tab group with one click or a shortcut. Pair with the repo's quit hook to clear saved groups when Chrome quits.

Tab Group Nuker removes every open tab group in every window with one click or one shortcut (Cmd+Shift+X on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+X on Windows/Linux). Your tabs stay open; only the grouping is removed. Made for people who run an auto-grouping extension. Those extensions create a new group for every site you visit, and since Chrome now saves every group automatically, the groups never go away on their own. Press the button when you want a clean window again. What it does: • Lists how many groups are open right now • Ungroups all of them at once, tabs untouched • Deletes the matching saved-group entries, so the groups do not linger in Chrome's "Tab groups" menu What it does not do: • It never runs by itself. No background activity, no timers, nothing at startup. • It cannot touch closed saved groups (the pills on the bookmarks bar). Chrome gives extensions no access to those.
