A Vertical Sidebar To Manage Your Tabs.

Tab Draw adds a vertical sidebar to every page you visit, so your tabs live in a calm, readable list you can sort, group and rename, instead of a row of shrinking icons at the top. It sits alongside Chrome's own tab bar rather than replacing it. ✨ What you can do • Keep the pages you use constantly in a favourites row at the top • Pin the tabs you want to survive a restart, and leave everything else in the live list below • Group related tabs into folders, and expand or collapse them as you work. Folders can hold folders, so you can nest as deep as you need • Drag and drop to rearrange anything, including reordering your real browser tabs • Rename any tab or folder so it is labelled the way you think about it, not the way the site titles it • Click a saved page to jump to it if it is already open, or open it fresh if it is not • Split your tabs into up to three separate Spaces, each with its own tabs, folders and colour. Switch between them without one project's clutter bleeding into another's 🔍 A calmer new tab page • Opening a new tab shows a simple search box instead of Chrome's default page, tinted in your current Space's colour • Pick your search engine — Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Brave or Ecosia — from a dropdown right there • Type a URL instead of a search and it just goes there • Don't want it? Turn it off in settings and new tabs go straight to your chosen engine's homepage instead 🎵 Now playing • Whatever tab is playing audio or video gets a small card above the sidebar, with its title, favicon and transport controls • Pause, resume, skip, mute or jump to the tab without hunting for the row it's playing from — handy when it's buried in a folder or a different Space 🎨 Make it yours • Sixteen sidebar colours, in vivid and soft tones, so each Space can look distinct at a glance • Floating, so the sidebar sits over the page as a card, or flush against the window edge • Optionally push the page content over to make room for the sidebar, instead of floating on top of it • Adjustable width, anywhere from 150 to 600 pixels • Show and hide it from the toolbar icon or with a keyboard shortcut ⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts The sidebar is available on every web page. To show or hide it: • macOS: Cmd + Shift + S • Windows and Linux: Ctrl + Shift + S You can change these at chrome://extensions/shortcuts 👋 Who it is for • You keep 20 or more tabs open, and the tab bar has stopped showing you anything useful • You moved to Chrome from Arc, Vivaldi, Edge, Zen or Opera and miss having a sidebar • You work across several projects at once and want each one's pages kept together, or split across separate Spaces entirely • You lose track of the handful of tabs that actually matter among all the ones that do not • You want your important pages one click away instead of buried behind a squint at a favicon 🚀 Getting started After installing, reload any tabs you already have open so the sidebar appears on them. New tabs pick it up automatically. Works in Chrome and other Chromium based browsers, including Dia. 🔒 Privacy Tab Draw stores your pinned tabs, favourites, Spaces and settings locally in your browser. It doesn't send anything anywhere on its own, doesn't use analytics, and there's no account to create. The one exception: a search you type into the new tab page goes to whichever search engine you've picked, the same as typing it into that engine's own search box. More features are on the way.
