Tab Deduplicator

Prevents duplicate tabs for specified URL patterns — reuses existing tab instead of opening a new one.

Tab Deduplicator prevents you from accidentally opening the same URL in multiple tabs. Instead of cluttering your browser with duplicates, it automatically detects when a tab with that URL already exists and redirects you there — whether you paste a link into a new tab, click a link from an external app (Slack, email, etc.), or open it any other way. You stay in full control: the extension only works for URL patterns you explicitly configure. Everything else opens normally. Features: • Wildcard URL pattern matching (e.g. *.salesforce.com, github.com/myorg/*) • Works for paste-and-navigate, Cmd+click, and links from external apps • "Add Current Tab" button to quickly register a domain • Patterns synced across Chrome profiles via Chrome Storage Sync • No data collection — all processing happens locally in your browser
