Tab Crushr helps you clean up tab overload without guessing what to close. With one click, Tab Crushr scans your open Chrome tabs and proposes safe cleanup actions for duplicate, stale, and superseded tabs. You can review every suggested tab before taking action, save important pages for later, protect active media tabs, and track your lifetime cleanup progress. It skips protected tabs like pinned tabs, active tabs, audible tabs, Chrome internal pages, extension pages, file URLs, and allowlisted domains. Stale and superseded detection starts after installation and needs 72 hours of tracking data before those rules become useful. Tab Crushr does not try to reconstruct tab history from before it was installed. Memory savings are estimates. Chrome does not expose exact per-tab memory usage to extensions, so Tab Crushr uses simple approximate savings to help you understand cleanup impact. Fixed in v0.1.2 (July 7, 2026) Added Duplicate Tabs, Old Tabs, and All Tabs views so you can choose how to review your open tabs. Tab Crushr now hides full URLs by default for a more compact list, with a simple Show URL option when needed. Also improves related tab detection by grouping same-site tabs more broadly, showing all related tabs, marking active tabs, and keeping related groups collapsible by domain.
