Overview

Control the clutter by cleaning and organizing tabs across Chrome windows.

Bring order to busy Chrome windows with five focused tab tools: • Close duplicate tabs: closes exact URL matches automatically, then asks before touching same-site pages that only look similar. • Sort tabs by domain: orders tabs by site, then by page title, keeping pinned and regular tabs in their own sections. • Group tabs by domain: creates clearly named native Chrome tab groups for sites with two or more tabs, and turns into Ungroup when you are done. • Gather tabs here: moves loose tabs from your other windows into the current one, leaving pinned and grouped tabs untouched. • Recently closed: lists Chrome's browser-wide recently closed tabs and windows and restores the one you pick. New in 3.1.0: Undo now covers every cleanup and organization action, not just duplicate cleanup. Close duplicates, sort, group, ungroup, or gather — one press puts it back. Undo reverses the most recent action until you start another one or the browser session ends, and it tells you plainly when something could not be restored, such as a source window you have since closed. Every action has a single-key shortcut: D, S, G, A, and R. Tab Control acts only when you choose an action. All tab information is processed locally in Chrome — nothing is transmitted, and there are no analytics or tracking services. So that Undo works, the minimum tab, group, and window information needed to reverse the latest action is held in Chrome's in-memory session storage until the next action, an Undo, or a Chrome restart clears it.
