Tab Constellation
Overview
Automatically groups your tabs into constellations by domain, keeping your browser tidy without effort.
Tab Constellation automatically organizes your browser tabs into groups based on domain, no clicks, no configuration, no UI to manage. The rule is simple: if 2 or more of your tabs share the same domain, they get grouped together. If you close tabs and only one remains for that domain, it gets ungrouped. Everything happens instantly in the background as you browse. What it does: - Groups tabs by their root domain, so tabs from app.github.com and gist.github.com both count as - GitHub and get grouped together - Labels each group with a clean, human-readable name (e.g. "GitHub", "YouTube") - Never touches your pinned tabs - Never moves tabs or changes which tab you're on - Works per-window, so each window stays independent - Runs on install, on startup, and continuously as you open and close tabs What it doesn't do: - No settings panel - No popup - No data collection - No syncing, no accounts, no permissions beyond what's needed to read your tab URLs and manage tab groups If you've ever looked at your browser and seen 25 ungrouped tabs with no idea what's what, Tab Constellation fixes that permanently -- without asking you to do anything.
