Give every tab a name that makes sense to you. Tab Banner is a simple tab renamer for Chrome and Brave on desktop. Replace long or confusing page titles with clear labels so you can find the right tab faster. CHOOSE HOW LONG TO KEEP A TITLE • Temporarily — rename the current tab for its current URL during this browser session. The name stays on reload and ends when you change URLs or close the tab or browser. • For this URL — remember a title on your device and apply it automatically when you visit that exact URL again. SIMPLE CONTROLS • Enter a name, choose a mode, and click Set title. • Keep your custom name when a website updates its page title. • Restore the original title with one click. • View and remove remembered titles from the Saved titles list. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, tracking, analytics, or external servers. Your saved titles and their URLs stay in local extension storage on your device. Site access is requested when you choose to remember a title, so Tab Banner can apply it on future visits. GOOD TO KNOW Saved rules match the complete URL, including query strings and fragments. Browser settings pages, the Chrome Web Store, and built-in PDF viewer pages cannot be renamed reliably. Titles change in your browser only; the website itself is not modified for other people.
