Tab Audio Recorder is a professional tool for recording, editing, and archiving audio directly from your browser. It is designed for users who need precise control over their audio recordings without relying on external software or cloud services. FEATURES Compact Floating Player: A draggable, picture-in-picture mini-panel allows for continuous control of recording and streaming while browsing other tabs. It includes a live timer, gain adjustment, and a dedicated 5-band EQ interface. 5-Band Parametric EQ: Shape your sound in real-time or during streaming with professional filters: Sub (60Hz), Bass (250Hz), Mid (1kHz), Presence (4kHz), and Air (12kHz). Each band offers ±12 dB of gain. Expanded Library Management: Updated library features include inline renaming (double-click), recording duplication, and instant audio previews. A visual quota indicator tracks your local storage usage. Audio Processing & Streaming: The extension includes a native time-stretching engine (0.25x to 4.0x) without affecting pitch. Audio can be monitored via live Streaming mode without saving to disk. Non-Destructive Editor: Precise trimming, internal section removal, and unlimited undo/redo. Fading with linear, exponential, and logarithmic curves. Reverse function for samples up to 5 minutes. Visualization during Rec or Streaming: FFT-based spectrum analyzer with customizable bands and styles (Bars, Mirror, Wave). Decibel level meter with peak hold and decay control.
