T0LD Tag Counter for YouTube
Overview
See any video's hidden tags, count characters against YouTube's 500 limit and build tag sets in the 480-500 sweet spot.
Tag Counter shows the hidden tags of any YouTube video and helps you write your own tag list that uses the 500-character limit well. WHAT IT DOES • See any video's tags: open a YouTube video or Short, click the # icon and get every tag the creator used. • Exact character count: counts the way YouTube does (commas between tags, and quotes around tags that contain spaces), so you never get the "tags too long" error. • Tag builder with a live meter: paste or type your tags and watch the bar. It turns green in the 480–500 range, so you use almost the whole limit without going over. • One-click cleanup: remove duplicates and trim the list to fit 500 characters. • Send to builder: merge a video's tags into your own list in one click, then edit them. • Saved sets: keep tag lists for each channel or series and load them any time. • Copy: copy everything ready to paste into YouTube Studio. WHO IT'S FOR YouTubers, music channels, Shorts creators, editors and social media managers who want faster, cleaner tags. PRIVACY No account, no tracking, no ads. Everything runs in your browser. Saved tag sets stay in your browser's local storage. The extension only reads the tags of the YouTube tab you are on, and only when you click the icon. Made by T0LD Studio.
