Synthesis RVU Tracker

Tracks the studies you sign in Synthesis across all your workstations and totals the day's work RVUs.

Synthesis RVU Tracker is an internal tool for the radiologists of Radiology Associates of San Luis Obispo (RA-SLO). It runs quietly in the background while you read in the practice's Synthesis reporting system and keeps a running total of the work RVUs (relative value units) of the studies you sign. What it does • Counts each study when you sign it. Studies you skip, open without signing, or only view are listed separately and never counted. Addenda are logged at 0 RVU. • Shows today's work RVU total on the toolbar icon. The popup shows the total, study count, Total RVU, wRVU per hour, and a scrolling table of every signed study: time, modality, exam type, workstation and wRVU. • Combines the workstations you read on at the same time: each machine shows your total for the day across all of them. • Looks up each exam type's CPT code and RVUs in the practice's RVU reference sheet. A new exam type is coded automatically from the CMS physician fee schedule data, and your total updates within minutes. • Logs every signed study to the practice's private Google Sheet, with hourly and daily totals per radiologist for comparison with billing data. • Lets you correct the tally: remove a study that was counted by mistake, or count one that was missed. Corrections apply on every workstation. • Copy the day's table, export it as CSV, and browse previous days. The day rolls over at a set hour (4 AM by default), so a late shift stays on one day. Privacy Patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, accession numbers and report text are never sent. For each signed study, the practice's sheet receives the exam type, time, RVUs, workstation name and a one-way hash of the accession number, and your Google Workspace account identifies you.
