Overview
Color individual characters, numbers, or words on pages you view to induce grapheme-color synesthesia as you surf the web.
A study by scientists in the Netherlands has shown that it may be possible to induce color-graphemic synesthesia (viewing letters as having an innate color) by reading text containing letters with a consistent color coding. Replicate their experiment at home with the synesthesia-inducing Synesthetize Chrome extension. You can now develop your color-letter, color-number, or color-word synesthesia as you surf the web. Synesthetize can be configured to color as many or as few words, letters, or numbers as you want in the colors you prefer to customize the effect to your liking. If you have synesthesia, you can even color-code letters, words, or numbers to specific colors that match your existing synesthetic association. You can also quickly disable the extension for certain websites if you'd prefer those specific sites to not be color-coded. Now supports pages where content loads gradually, e.g. infinite scroll websites or comment sections.
