Synderesis brings AI assistance guided by Catholic principles to your everyday work in Chrome. Get help with writing, research and understanding the content you read, with a side-panel assistant alongside your browsing. Use Synderesis to: • Understand what you read. Ask questions about web pages and selected passages, summarise information and explore ideas through follow-up questions. • Develop your writing. Turn ideas into drafts, improve clarity and structure, and prepare material for personal or professional use. • Work with documents. Add PDF or Word documents as context for questions and summaries. PDF and DOCX text is extracted locally before being sent for AI processing. Catholic principles guide the assistance, rather than being treated as an afterthought. When a question calls for Church teaching, Synderesis can draw on official Catholic sources. It supports your work without replacing your judgement: you review the output and decide how to use it. You control page context. It is enabled by default, and the side-panel banner identifies the page included with your request. Exclude the page or turn page context off in the settings. Content you explicitly select or attach can still be included. Private mode lets you chat without saving the conversation in extension history and disables optional analytics for that chat. It does not make the service offline: your prompts and included context are sent over HTTPS to Synderesis and its model providers to generate responses. See the Privacy Notice for data handling and retention details. A Synderesis account and an internet connection are required. Usage is subject to your account’s plan and available allowance. AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify important information before relying on it.
