Switchboard reads what you're about to ask and tells you which AI fits better before you start typing — Claude or ChatGPT, which mode (chat, Claude Code, Cowork, or a design artifact), which model, and how much effort to ask for. Then it copies your task and opens the right place. Mid-conversation and want to switch platforms? Switchboard reads the visible thread, condenses it, and hands you a ready-to-paste continuation on the other side — routing recommendation included. It also merges what Claude and ChatGPT each remember about you into one file on your device, and re-syncs it any time either side changes. Everything above runs locally. Switchboard has no backend and no account — your data is stored in chrome.storage.local on your own device. Local rule-based routing is free and works out of the box. If you want routing classified by a real model instead of keyword matching, add your own Anthropic API key in Settings — it's sent straight from your browser to Anthropic, never through us.
