Swipe for Letterboxd
Overview
Swipe-style interface and local profile database for filtering, searching, and reviewing your Letterboxd history
Swipe for Letterboxd adds a Tinder-style swipe deck and a private, on-device film database to Letterboxd, so you can move through films quickly and make sense of your own viewing history. WHAT IT DOES • Swipe deck — On listing pages (popular, watchlist, lists), open a deck of FRESH films (ones you haven't watched, liked, watch-listed, or skipped) and act on each with a swipe or keyboard shortcut: watched, like, watchlist, or skip. • Local profile database — Run Collection Sync (while logged in) to build an on-device registry of your watched films with title, year, director, genres, poster, star rating, liked status, and review text where Letterboxd exposes it. • Filter, sort, search — Search your history and filter by watched / liked / watchlist / rated / reviewed / genre / watched-date, then sort by rating, year, watched date, or title. Open any film for a detail view. • Quick review — Write and submit a star rating + review from the deck. PRIVACY & WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES • Your film registry is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage). There is no account with us, no server, and nothing is sent to any third party. • Preferences sync via Chrome's built-in sync storage only.
